Kept in a cool, dry environment, and away from direct sunlight, Pro10 Active™ will reliably keep until the Best Before date found on the bottom of the pack.
Should I keep Pro10 Active™ in the fridge?
No it’s not necessary to keep Pro10 Active™ in the fridge. A cool section of the kitchen/pantry is usually adequate.
Can I have Pro10 Active™ with full cream milk instead of skim milk?
Yes. It can also be used in orange or apple juice. In chilled beverages, more vigorous stirring or shaking may be required.
I mixed Pro10 Active™ with very hot or boiling water but it became thready and unappealing. What happened?
Pro10 Active™ is high in milk-based proteins, so it probably curdled. While this does not present any health or safety concerns it is best avoided. When adding to tea, coffee etc. you should allow the beverage to cool 30 – 60 seconds, then stir in the powder. Similar with soups. Add when the bowl has cooled a little. You can also pre-mix Pro10 Active™ into a jug of fresh milk, or even direct into a milk carton.
Where are the ingredients derived from?
Mainly fresh Australian milk, produced on our own dairy farms in southern Victoria and South Australia.
Are the ingredients for Pro10 Active™ genetically modified?
No, none of our ingredients are genetically modified.
Is Pro10 Active™ available in the UK/ United States?
Not yet.
What flavors are available?
So far we are only selling Pro10 Active™ in a neutral flavor as this provides the maximum flexibility in terms of uses.
In what foods and beverages can Pro10 Active™ powder be used?
You can mix Pro10 Active™ in any hot or cold beverage such as coffee or juice; into soft foods such as apple sauce, pudding or yogurt; or cook with it in recipes for such foods as muffins, pikelets and even scones. It can be readily added to soup – but remember not to add it during the cooking phase or when very hot. In moderate quantities, Pro10 Active™ will have no discernable affect on taste or texture. However, we recommend you use our specialty recipes available on line to get the best result. Pro10 Active™ is not recommended for carbonated beverages.
